Dad's blood transfusion when well today. He received 2 bags of Red Blood Cells. The first bag was VERY sloooooooow. The nurses were kind and patient as they really had to monitor and adjust his arm and needle to get the blood to flow. The second bag went much better. He was in the Infusion Center from 8:00 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. today. They fed him lunch, he watched his own private little TV (which as you can imagine made him happy) while he napped.
There is a little family debate about whether Dad truly has a head cold or whether it is seasonal allergies - this morning his summation was that he had a "snotty nose". Thank you for your prayers in this matter - God knows which it is and we can still ask him to protect Dad from infection. We appreciate your continued prayers and support.

Love the shirt, love the expression on your face, love even your snotty nose. Love this man! Hope this makes you feel better - new blood usually does - (smiling;)

So good to hear this report. I will continue to pray and all i can think of is God bless that snotty nose....and i pray that's all it is. continued thoughts and prayers.
